Having lessons with John has been a very enjoyable and never forgetting experience. John has not only taught me the things I needed to pass the test but has given me an experience of driving in different situations so I was prepared when I had passed and had to face such problems.
One of the experiences was narrow country lane driving which I found very nerve-wracking if I hadn't previously practiced during lessons as space is very limited.
John has been very supportive from the day I learnt how the clutch works to the day I passed my test, encouraged me throughout the course and has got a great sense of humour. Every week I was looking forward to the lessons as we had a good laugh and I learnt a lot at the same time.
This is also a valuable experience because in the future I will not just be concentrating on driving but talking to my friends in the car at the same time.
To sum up, I couldn't of found a better driving instructor and I really thank John for being there all the time for me.

I passed first time with John and it was all down to the excellent way in which he teaches, he always makes sure you’re comfortable with doing something 100% before moving on, which is so beneficial! One of the key experiences for me was the Luton experience, I learnt so much from it even though I was absolutely terrified of having to do all the road sign reading independently, but it is very helpful as it makes you feel more independent when driving, rather than relying on John to tell you where to go. John is such an understanding person, and believed in me every step of the way, even though I doubted myself constantly! Every lesson with John was very enjoyable and he knows how to have a laugh. Without Johns help and support every step of the way I’d have never have passed first time, I couldn’t think of anyone I’d have rather learnt with, I’d recommend John to everyone who is thinking about learning to drive, you will not regret it!

I started lessons with John in June 2010, having only ever driven a car once before, I was relatively nervous, but John is very easy-going, and he made me feel at ease. John helped me every step of the way, he was very patient and clear with instructions. He gave me the resources I needed for my theory and practical tests and he was always willing to help if I had any questions that I needed answering. John was very flexible and was prepared to change any lessons if I couldn’t make them. With John, I’m proud to say that I passed my theory and practical tests first time, and I really couldn’t have done it with-out him, I really recommend him to anybody who wants to start driving. I come from Hong Kong. My auntie recommended me to John having driving lessons. Because English is not my first language so I had lots of problems!Luckily, John is very patient. He taught me very careful. And sometime he taught me different words in English. So I’m very enjoying every lesson. Also, he gave me free online theory test practice on the internet. Let me prepared theory test every day!Unfortunately, I need to go back to Hong Kong so I can’t take a driving test in England! But he still helps me. He give me information about what I leant with him. So I don’t need to starting again in Hong Kong.

幸運的是，約翰很耐心。他教我非常小心。而且有時他教我不同的英文詞語。所以我很享受每一課。此外，他給我免費理論測試練習在互聯網上。讓我可以每一天準備理論考試！
不幸的是，我要回到香港，所以我不能參加駕駛考試在英國！但他仍然幫助我。他給我一些資料關於在他的課堂上我學了什麼。讓我不需要再次重新開始學過在香港。

I decided to embark on some driving lessons as the big "30" was fast approaching and i felt like i would be the only 30 year old with childern that didn't drive.
I knew John was the right instructor for me as he had sucessfully tought my husband Tommy Hummel 2.5 years earlier and he highly recommended him.
I found John's calm & supprotive approach is what kept me going when i found some lessons frustrating and was amazed by his dedication to the task by even happily giving up a few Saturdays for more lessons before my test.
I have happily recommended John to my friends & family and would like to thank him again for making such a massive change to my life.
